Occasionally oils, BTEX, hydrocarbons entrain from process heat exchangers leak into cooling water or suspect condensate water streams and this can cause higher turbidity, TOC, VOC, fluorides and TSS in the stream. WP&E technology based modular skids at 100-1000 m3/h capacity are deployed as side stream treatment units to remove the contamination within a very short period of time. This allows customers to continue operation without risking asset integrity or production interruption and prevents huge water blowdowns and loss of water treatment chemicals.
The technology has been installed successfully at 100-1000 m3/hr modular processing capacities in closed loop or open loop systems and capacity can be increased or decreased with additional parallel modules.
