WP&E Technology based systems are based on electrochemical and stripping technology that converts soluble and emulsified hydrocarbons and oils into insoluble hydrocarbons and insoluble oily phase that can be easily separated and recovered as byproduct. This does not necessitate the need to use acid, emulsion breaker, clarifiers, chemical oxidation, absorbent and adsorbent media to meet the low discharge specifications in ppm levels. The energy requirement is very low and operates at very low pressure differential of less than 5 psi. System has self cleaning capability controlled by PLC with low maintenance.
The technology has been installed successfully in produced water treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, Wastewater generated from decontamination during Plant Turnarounds, pipeline cleaning, wash water, process cooling water/ condensate decontamination, spent caustic wastewater etc.
